Overview

I am currently a PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering within the Mechanics, Materials, and Structures Group at Northwestern University. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Road, Bridge and River-crossing Engineering from Zhengzhou University and my Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining Northwestern University, I worked on the Environmental Durability of CFRP strand sheets strengthened steel plate double strap joints. Currently, my research interests include LDPM (lattice discrete particle model) Abaqus modeling and fracture mechanics.
